Wondering what to do during Frieze week which starts officially on Monday 8th October. Frieze week is always the best time of year to see the most exciting new contemporary art mounted in the UK. Because of the influx of at least 50,000 international art enthusiasts into the capital, many galleries mount their biggest and most exciting exhibitions, to parallel the fair.

This year Frieze expands to include Frieze Masters an unique perspective on the relationship between old and new art. The fair will present over 90 of the world’s leading galleries, with 79 in the main section and 22 in Spotlight. Visitors can also experience the fair’s programme of special events. Frieze Art Fair London features over 150 of the most exciting contemporary art galleries in the world. The fair also includes specially commissioned artists’ projects, a prestigious talks programme and an artist-led education schedule. For a cost of around £30 for a one day pass you can visit the fair the events and the buzz.
For those on a budget there is still plenty to do. Many of the satellite events are free and all of the commercial gallery exhibitions are open to the public at no charge. Visual art is still very much free and inclusive to mall that seek the knowledge and pleasure it can bring!

PARALLAX ART FAIR
The fifth edition of Parallax Art Fair in London will take place at Chelsea Town Hall. Through being a direct art-to-consumer experience with an open admission policy, P(AF) makes a uniquely refreshing conceptual statement about subjectivity and the commoditization of taste.

The Museum of everything #3
The Gallery of Everything is just such an idea: a one-off installation featuring two 20th century masters whose work has been overlooked by most contemporary art institutions, collectors and curators. Our venue is Frieze Masters, a new off-shoot of the Frieze Art Fair inRegent’s Park, London, and we anticipate over 50,000 visitors. “T Rooms is homely and sterile. It is mass-produced and individualist. Ultra-modern and traditional. This here is what people want. It’s what we all want.” Extract from T Rooms, 2012.
