Futureversity Exhibition - Oxford House

FUTUREVERSITY, previously known as Tower Hamlets Summer University, is delighted to return to Oxford House to present the impressive results of this year’s www! (what we want!) project in this free exhibition.

www! is a media grants scheme that gives 13-20 year olds the opportunity to express through film or photography what they feel passionate about, what concerns them and what it’s like to be a young person in London today. They receive mentoring, training and funding to help realise their project. This year, the striking film and photography work from 16 young people on display will explore a range of topics - including the effects of cultural difference, the shocking reality of animal cruelty and a documentary style piece looking at young people’s aspirations and how they see themselves in the future.

For more details on this year’s www! project, including a link to the blog (updated regularly by the young film-makers and photographers on their work), visit www.summeruni.org/whatwewant
