Monarchy - Birkbeck Cinema
Monarchy is a new video and animation work by London Fieldworks filmed on the location of their forest installation, Super Kingdom, in the ancient woodland of King's Wood, Kent. Super Kingdom is a series of animal 'show homes' based on dictator's palaces, a reflection of the encroachment of urbanisation on rural spaces. A Stour Valley Arts commission funded by Arts Council England and the Arts and Humanities Research Council.
