'Monochrome Set' - Core Gallery
This is a joint show with Patrick Morrissey, Clive Hanz Hancock, and guest ceramicist Leyla Folwell. The work is a collaboration by the artists on a specific theme which suggests many associations with structures found in nature , musical notation, and kinetic phenomena surrounding us in whatever circumstance. Morrisseys work is based upon the use of systems and geometric progressionsor tangents, Hancocks work is similar, the former creating dramatic mid grounds which shimmer somewhere between the viewer and the plane. Hancocks work is subtle but reflects the drama of the other works. Leyla Folwell is guesting on this show, and contribute another/ 3 dimensional take which compliments the whole ensemble.
