First solo presentation of Philippe Parreno’s works in a UK institution. Philippe Parreno is known for being a representative of Relational Art, a term which was first defined by curator Nicolas Bourriaud in his book Relational Aesthetics (1998). Set in the beautiful landscape of Kensington Gardens, the Serpentine Gallery offers a unique opportunity to investigate Parreno’s work in the surroundings of the park.
