The London Group Members’ Annual Exhibition - The Cello Factory
What have Dr. Who and the Daleks, the Stradivarius and The London Group of artists all got in common?
The answer is The Cello Factory in Waterloo. A site where the original Daleks were produced, but it was also the Savoy Hotel’s furniture repository, and was well known in the music world as the place to buy a Stradivarius. And this historic site is the latest venue for The London Group’s Annual exhibition.
This year’s show at The Cello Factory forms an extension of the Group’s prolific exhibiting activities which range from 2009’s enormously successful “Open” exhibition at the Menier Gallery, to the recent “Inspiration” exhibition at Kensington and Chelsea College which examined teaching and influences in and out of the British Art School system. The forthcoming Annual promises to be an equally exciting mix of today’s current artistic practice so please come and join us.
