The Stour Collective - Stour Space
STOUR SPACE would like to invite you to THE STOUR COLLECTIVE, a group exhibition showcasing a unique and dynamic assembly of 13 emerging international artists.
After a successful year of public events, exhibitions and designer markets, THE STOUR COLLECTIVE is STOUR SPACE’s final exhibition for 2010 and will celebrate a year of innovative work being produced by resident artists and fabricators working in the Olympic borough.
STOUR SPACE, a 4,000 sq ft superbly renovated warehouse gallery, is located in the fertile art community of Fish Island. Existing in the shadow of London’s futuristic Olympic site, Fish Island is the London location for new ideas and creative stimulation and is home to artists, designers and imaginative entrepreneurs, who are joined in their enthusiasm to create innovative art and design.
THE STOUR COLLECTIVE will exhibit a selection of this Fish Island talent including a range of disciplines from fine-art, woodcraft and illustration, to photography and film-production.
To further indulge your senses the event will be catered by renowned local hotspot, The Counter Café. Including mini versions of The Counter’s recently launched pie range, which are taking the Fish Island community by storm. So be sure to get in early to enjoy not only the delicious cana-piés, but also mulled wine and live performances.
