Two London Shows - Simon Coates
Simon Coates is taking part in two London group shows before the end of the year.
'The Sleeping Runner' starts on November 25th 2010 at The Brick Lane Gallery, 196 Brick Lane and the BHVU Winter Open starts the day after at the BHVU, Unit A, Leswin Place, Stoke Newington.
The Brick Lane Gallery exhibition showcases three brand new paintings created especially for the show, whilst the BHVU Open offers the chance to see the third painting in Coates' revered 'Our Lady of Guadalupe' series (pictured).
November 25th also sees the launch of the 'Off The Shelf' group exhibition at the Saltburn-By-The-Sea Gallery in North Yorkshire (www.saltburnartistsprojects.org.uk).
Coates has five pieces on show, including two never-before-seen 3D artworks and three fine art prints from the 'Animals and Insects' series.
