Wunderkammer: an exhibition of Wimbledon School of Art’s MA students in collaboration with The Nunnery Gallery and Bow Arts Trust.

This exhibition will showcases the work of graduates at the interim stage of their postgraduate degree. Artists from the Wimbledon School of Art MA will show work crossing the boundaries of painting, drawing, printmaking, textiles, film, sound, sculpture and installation.

The exhibition is a collaborative project between an outside curator and the postgraduate students which will pose a unique set of questions about the nature of collaboration and the collective voice of independent artists working towards a common goal.

Thomas Cuckle (curator) has developed exhibitions and projects for the art and architecture research project Spaces Buildings Make and for Witte de With Center for Contemporary Art in Rotterdam. He studied Curating Contemporary Art at the Royal College of Art where he co-curated a major exhibition of the British film and video artist John Smith. Since January 2011 Cuckle has worked for IBID PROJECTS, London.

This exhibition is the second part of the Wimbledon School of Art’s MA Show. Week 1 (starting 1st March) will be titled 'Memoria Technica' which will also be held The Nunnery Gallery.
