Art Below Launches Your Art At Angel Tube

Exhibition showcases emerging art during The London Art Fair – Hurry Entry closes 19 December

For the month of January Art Below will be transforming Angel Tube station’s concourse into a public gallery space.
Artists of all creative backgrounds and nationalities are invited to enter their work. The ‘Art of Angel’ exhibition has been planned to coincide with the prestigious London art fair which draws thousands of visitors through the station each year, making this an amazing marketing opportunity for you and your work to be exhibited. As an Art Below Artist you will also be invited to exhibit your original art work at the Candid Arts Trust, a Victorian warehouse with over 6,500 sq ft of exhibition space, located directly behind the station. There will be a VIP launch event on the 19th January followed by a 3 day exhibition period co-insiding with the London Art Fair, just minutes walk away.  To enhance the atmosphere of this event Art Below will also provide some refreshing alternatives to the art fair experience including live painting / drawing performances, film screenings, live debates and talks by leading figures in the art world.

Art Below has been established for five years and thrives on providing artists with access to advertising space in the London Underground where nearly 2 million people travel every day. Their mission is to enrich the everyday life of the traveling public by giving fresh insight into the very latest in art, illustration, photography, fashion, whilst at the same time providing a platform for emerging talent. Such exhibitions involve taking over entire walkways, escalators, platforms and passenger lifts, at home and abroad in Berlin and Tokyo with further expansion planned for 2012 in USA and Asia.
