Damien Hirst: Official Year Of The Snake Prediction Outlook

This is the ‘Year of the Snake’ under the Chinese zodiac and ‘allegedly’ the snake is quite an interesting person. Well Known Snakes include Picasso, Audrey Hepburn, Jackie Kennedy Onassis and of course the bad boy of British art, Damien Hirst.

Like the snake in the biblical story of Adam and Eve, this reptile is a seducer. He/she is charming and charismatic. In fact, the Snake often takes the spotlight, becoming the center of attention. They are looked up to for strength and allure, many people know and relate to the Snake as a role model. This person is usually determined, erratic in decision-making and oversexed!

With so much appeal and popularity, it is easy to see why the Snake is someone you can easily fall in love with. Many think of this individual as being irresistible. The Snake is trustworthy and avoids gossip. He/she is a deep thinker, highly intelligent, reliable, and great at making first impressions.  One of the most fascinating aspects of the Snake is this person’s intuition, almost a sixth sense.

The Snake is often very lucky when it comes to making money.  In some cases you could say they have an ability to print it! , This person is careful with finances although a generous and charitable person.  On the romantic end, you will find that the male is extremely, loving. The female of this Chinese zodiac sign is typically successful with her career and personal life. A Snake needs to feel secure and acceptance and approval is paramount.  Enriched with common sense, the Snake has a deep-rooted philosophical outlook on life sometimes this can lead to depression.

Snake signs have many great characteristics, however there are a few negatives to look out for. The Snake is usually frugal and sometimes outright mean with money. This person also tends to exaggerate and when lending a helping hand, he or she must always feel in control. The Snake is also someone who will sometimes tell tales. While this person does not regularly lie, when he/she does lie, it’s a big one.

Another shortcoming with the Snake is that when cornered, he or she will do or say almost anything to save face. This person also has a lazy side and on occasion, can be extremely self-indulgent.  In fact, you typically see a little mystery with the person under this zodiac sign, which makes him/her even more interesting.

As mentioned before, the Snake has a terrific ability to earn money. Even though laziness, a negative trait should in theory hold them back, it rarely does. Their career perspectives are fantastic and they should avoid taking risks although these risks can often lead to more success. Snakes are very shrewd in the business world, having the ability to wheel and deal.  Because of this, Snakes are often industry leaders. The Snake is determined to take a project and see it through to completion.  Most often, first impressions are formed, leading to a quick decision. If there is something that this person wants, you can be sure no one will stand in the way.  With a high self-belief and success, the Snake would do quite well in any career.

Damien Hirst was born in Bristol in 1965. He studied at Goldsmiths College in London and first came to public attention in 1988 when he conceived and curated “Freeze,” an exhibition of his work and that of his friends and fellow students at Goldsmiths. In the near quarter century since that pivotal show, Hirst has become one of the most  prominent artists of his generation. Many of his works are widely recognized, from the shark suspended in formaldehyde, The Physical Impossibility of Death in the Mind of Someone Living (1991) and his spot, spin and butterfly paintings, through to later works such as the diamond skull For the Love of God (2007). Of the latter, the art historian Rudi Fuchs has said, “The skull is out of this world, celestial almost. At the same time it represents death as something infinitely more relentless. Compared to the tearful sadness of a vanitas scene, the diamond skull is glory itself.”
