Director Rino Stefano Tagliafierro Animates Old Master Paintings Heaven To Hell

Rino Stefano Tagliafierro  has taken old master painting to another level, by animating them into a pastiche of short vignettes. He was Born in Piacenza, 1980. He lives and works in Milan.

Rino is an Italian experimental animator and director Rino Stefano Tagliafierro studied at ISIA in Urbino and at IED – European Institute of Design in Milan.

His films have been included in the programmes of Sapporo Short Fest 2013, Atlanta Film Festival 2013, Night of Animation in Lille 2013, Video Art & Experimental Film Festival of NEW YORK 2013, New York International Children’s Film Festival 2013, Festival International du film d’animation Annecy 2012, ESMI Awards at FIC – Buenos Aires, Ottawa International Animation Festival Ottawa 2012, Animanima 2012, Anim’est 2012, Festival del Cinema di Venezia, Cracow Film Festival, Bug Festival, among others.
