Peeling the Body

Peeling the Body is the product of several years art practice research. The studio work presents as video installation and begs the question how art practice can utilize the experience of medical events to consider the implications for the living human being of notions of the posthuman, and, how this process can affect an understanding of the positions of the subject / medical object within the western medical tradition and, in so doing, suggest a more empowered subject?
