Sunday: Frieze Week Collateral Contemporary Art Fair Announces October Line-Up

The 2017 edition of SUNDAY an annual contemporary art fair held in London get under way during Frieze week 5-8 October. The fair focuses on new and emerging artists and galleries from around the world. This year SUNDAY will showcase 25 international galleries exhibiting solo projects or curated group presentations. SUNDAY Art Fair is held at Ambika P3, University of Westminster, 35 Marylebone Road, London NW1 5LS. 

It takes place in a 14,000 square foot, triple height subterranean space close to Baker Street underground station and less than ten minutes walk from Frieze Art Fair. SUNDAY Art Fair is a gallery-led art fair, run by participating galleries. From 2010 – 2012 the fair was organised by the galleries Tulips and Roses, Croy Nielson and Limoncello. Rob Tufnell and Lüttgenmeijer organised it between 2013 – 2014. Since 2015 the fair is organised by Supplement, London following their participation in 2014.

A significant number of galleries who have exhibited at SUNDAY in the past six editions of the fair now participate in Frieze Art Fair, including Chewdays, Croy Nielson, Freedman Fitzpatrick, Freymond-Guth, Frutta, Dan Gunn, High Art, Hopkinson Mossman, Jan Kaps, Koppe Astner, Limoncello, Rodeo, Seventeen, Southard Reid, Gregor Staiger, Simone Subal Gallery, Supportico Lopez, Rob Tufnell, Taro Nasu, Truth and Consequences, Many successful artists were presented at early points in their careers over the past five years at SUNDAY, proving the fair to be a fantastic platform to discover emerging talent.
