The Londoner and The Interview is his latest collection of figurative-abstract works inspired with people, modern commuters, who travel to work in and around London. This collection is in a way also a portrait of society and representation of present economic climate. The theme is really about commuters, travelling to work emerging from a gloomy, uncertain, weathered streets but one can begin to understand the importance of this imagery. This work has captured the present situation of the world and it is posing questions in a subtle way where viewers need to invest time to discover it.

“When creating artwork, I am not thinking about the style but rather what I want to achieve. I am interested in ‘how things work’ and I investigate this in different aspects of form, shape, light and colour.”

Aleksandar regularly exhibits in group exhibitions around the UK. He displays fine art paintings that stand on their own as collectible works of art. For the first time he will be exhibiting solo in London – Paul McPherson Gallery.
