We are pleased to present Circuit: Five Deductions, Flora Parrott’s first solo show at Tintype.
Flora Parrott’s work is distinguished by the way she assembles objects and images to respond to and represent physical sensations. Parrott employs a diverse range of media including velum, snail shells, rubber, lard, copper, gelatine and slate – experimenting to find textures and compositions that interact and resonate.
For Circuit: Five Deductions she has created a circuit in the gallery space with five deductions, or shrine-like groupings – “little dynamics that mimic a sensation.”
