Two-day event

Saturday | 10.00 – 17.00

Sunday | 10.00 – 15.00 (may run over slightly)

The Matt Roberts Arts ‘Kaizen’ is an intensive two-day workshop, allowing a group of artists to improve the presentation of their work and ideas, and to learn from each other’s experiences.  The concept for this workshop comes from the Japanese term for intensive improvement.

The first Kaizen event will involve ten artists with diverse practices and experiences from London and across the UK. The workshops will allow each artist to present their work with workshops devoted to artists’ statements, CV’s, and finally a Q & A session for the group to talk about the best and worst experiences of their career.

In order to participate in a Kaizen you will need to be a Full Member of Matt Roberts Arts. Full Membership costs £120 for the year and involves participation in the Kaizen workshop, email access to career development support, and annual or bi-annual tours of commercial galleries (these tours are only open to Full Members and Mentees).

There are only 50 Full Membership places for 2014-15 so please email as soon as possible to register interest in Full Membership, to attend this Kaizen, or similar events which may be held in the future. Advice on accommodation can be provided if necessary.

Please see for any further information about Matt Roberts Arts.
