Photography on a Postcard Exhibition and Lottery

The team behind Art on a Postcard has morphed into Photography on a Postcard for the month of October 2017. Up and coming talent have the chance to show alongside Martin Parr, Wolfgang Tillmans, Jim Goldberg, Dougie Wallace, Edmund Clarke, Matt Stuart, Cristina De Middel, Tom Hunter, Simon Norfolk, Chris Steele Perkins, Jenny Lewis, Homer Sykes, Eleanor Macnair, Miles Aldridge, Hassam Hajajj and Maryam Eisler and many more well known and loved photographers.

Of the 550 photographers who have submitted work to Photography on a Postcard, a third of them came via an open call, judged by renowned photographers Liz Collins, Dougie Wallace & Robin Maddock.

Photographs are available by purchasing a lottery ticket for £50 which guarantees a photograph from the show, although which one will not be revealed until the show closes on 26th October. The tickets will be on sale from 5 October. Click Here for more details. There will be 1250 tickets available matching the number of photographs. Each photograph will be a postcard-sized edition of one and will come with a certificate of authenticity.

The broad spectrum of styles coupled with the high-profile photographers taking part ensures Photography on a Postcard as much success as it’s sister event Art on Postcard. Buyers have a very high chance of getting a valuable collector’s piece such as a one-off Simon Norfolk, Liz Hingley or Liz Collins or they may get a very talented student who is on their way to be the next Nat Finklestein.

All the money raised will go to The Hepatitis C Trust’s campaign to eliminate hepatitis C from the UK by the year 2030.
