The Richard Avedon Foundation have set their lawyers to work by calling on Spiegel and Grau, an imprint of Random House, to cease publication, distribution or any derivative or collateral use of Avedon: Something Personal, by Norma Stevens and Steven M.L. Aronson, which it is billing as an “intimate biography” of the late photographer.

The Irish photographer Richard Mosse has won the seventh Prix Pictet, Space it was announced in a ceremony last night at the V&A Museum. The winner was selected from a shortlist of twelve. Mosse was chosen for his series Heat Maps 2016-17. The prize, with a value of 100,000 Swiss Francs, is sponsored by Swiss wealth and asset managers, the Pictet Group.
