Sacha Craddock works at the forefront of contemporary art in this country and internationally. Her commitment to contemporary art encompasses curating, organising, promotion, setting up structures, education and creating new networks designed to bring artists and audiences together. She frequently talks on current issues in contemporary art for galleries, museums and institutions. Recent criticism includes essays on Mark Boulos, Gillian Wearing, Benjamin Senior, Angus Fairhurst, Richard Billingham, Edgar Davids, Mustafa Hulusi, Heri Dono, Rosa Lee, Art and Youth for Turner Contemporary and London in the 1970s.
Sacha Craddock is co-founder of Bloomberg Space and was its curator from 2002-2011. She has been Chair of the Board of New Contemporaries and selection process since 1996. Craddock co-founded Artschool Palestine and is co-founder and member of Faculty at British School at Rome, Trustee of the Shelagh Cluett Trust, Trustee of the Art House Foundation and Executive Committee Member of AICA. She is currently working on a publication about the changing attitudes to contemporary art in Britain, commissioned by Reaktion Books.
Jennifer Boyd is a writer based in London. Her writings move between theory and fiction, and her interests include emancipatory sensations, subversive politics, and the materiality of language. Her texts have been included in journals such as SALT. and After Us, and she has contributed to projects and exhibitions at the Center for Contemporary Art Estonia, National Media Museum UK, Five Years Gallery, MoreUtopia! Online, Peninsula Arts, and Even Salon. She is currently Assistant Curator at Borough Road Gallery, where she has produced commissions by emerging practitioners working with text in response to a collection of paintings and drawings, and co-produced a residency with previous Jerwood Painting Fellowships recipient, Susan Sluglett. She has previously worked at British Council Visual Arts, Banner Repeater, and Gasworks, on commissions and residencies.
