As part of the ARTiculations series, Richard Deacon, Turner Prize winning sculptor will be in conversation with Pamela Kember, Head of Arts and Learning at Asia House.
Richard Deacon grew up in Sri Lanka, and has travelled through many parts of Asia over the course of his career. He will come to talk with Pamela Kember about his childhood and his continuing interest in rock carved sculptures of Asia, from the 12thcentury carved Buddhas of Polonnanuwa in Sri Lanka to the caves of Ellora and Ajanta in India.
