In conjunction with their exhibition Once Upon A Time, Gazelli Art House will be hosting a talk on Saturday 29th June. Exhibiting artists Kyung Woo Han and Vittorio Corsini will discuss their selected works in situ with curator and Director of Gazelli Art House, Mila Askarova.
The exhibition explores the blurred boundaries between reality and imagination with a special focus on the concept of storytelling.
Vittorio Corsini is renowned for his evocative works which allow the viewer to engage with their surroundings through a consideration of personal, historical and imaginary ties to the location. For Once Upon A Time he will present a new series of monochrome paintings – Sul finire dell’occhio (As The Eye Comes to a Close).
Kyung Woo Han employs a variety of media including light installations, video and sculpture to immerse the viewer in a dreamlike dimension. In Once Upon A Time, we see Woo Han utilise intricate geometric patterns on either video or light installation, to perplex the eye and distort objects and boundaries.
