Artists Talk: George Eksts

Exhibiting artist George Eksts will give a talk about his practice and the new pieces created during his residency.

George Eksts is an artist using video, printmaking, drawing and sculpture to explore ideas of progress, completion, time and the temporary.  In this exhibition, Eksts will show a combination of preexisting works and new work developed for the gallery during a studio residency. As suggested by the show’s title, the emphasis will be on making and breaking connections between multiple works and the meaning generated by ordering and reordering within a modular system.
