Over the past 20 years, Victoria Meyers—a founding partner of New York-based hanrahan Meyers architects—has crafted an architectural and urban design practice that responds to sound as an integral aspect of spatial experience and environment.
Shape of Sound offers new theoretical insights into the relationship between sound and architecture, accompanied by several key case studies including Meyers’ collaborative projects with Stephen Vitiello and Michael J Schumacher.
WORK is pleased to announce that Victoria Meyers will be joining us from the United States to launch Shape of Sound. WORK also welcomes soundscape and town planning consultant Max Dixon—developer of London’s first ambient noise strategy, Sounder City—who will speak at the launch about the relationship between aural and spatial design and management.
Throughout the evening, Meyers will be signing copies of Shape of Sound, available from PAPERWORK Bookshop at the special launch price of £20 (RRP £24.95).
RSVP to email@example.com if you would like to attend the launch.
