Daata announces the second edition of Daata Fair, an online-only art fair dedicated to showcasing the best of international contemporary video and digital art. Daata Fair Miami will run 1 – 13 December 2020, with a preview day on 30 November.
Daata Fair Miami is a concise, curated fair with 11 invited international art galleries, each presenting a single artist’s video works. Participating artists include David Claerbout (Esther Schipper), Larry Achiampong (Copperfield), Rosa Menkman (Gallery Kendra Jayne Patrick) and Zina Saro-Wiwa (Tiwani Contemporary), with new Daata x The Bass commissions by Petra Cortright and Jeremy Couillard being screened at the New World Symphony’s vast outdoor screen, along with brilliant video artworks by Grimes (Maccarone), and Jeffrey Gibson (Kavi Gupta) amongst others. The Demystifying Digital Art panel launches the Fair, with an incredible list of panelists which includes leading video art collector Pamela Kramlich and curator and writer Barbara London.
