OLPH is an artist-run exhibition project based in Streatham Hill, South London. It is unique in that we ask artists to curate an exhibition that contextualises the interests and concerns driving their practice. These are not just a series of solo shows. We ask that the artists be more generous and offer an insight into their creative process. In May, Larry Achiampong and David Blandy will present Media Minerals, an archive of the collaborative process focusing on their current research and production towards their HD video work Finding Fanon. This new body of work is inspired by Frantz Fanon (1925-1961), a politically radical humanist whose practice dealt with the psychopathology of colonisation and the social and cultural consequences of decolonisation.
