‘Hide and Seek’ Children’s Workshop
Join us for a journey into the world of Sigmund Freud. Discover his magical house and wonderful collection of beautiful things from around the world.
Freud was an avid letter writer and during his engagement, wrote to his fiancée nearly every day. On Saturday, you’ll be writing a secret letter and making stamps inspired by Freud’s collection to decorate the envelope. There will be a special postbox for your letter.
This workshop encourages children to say something they want to, but are finding it hard to express. By creating their own envelope and putting their secrets inside they will be exploring new ways to express their thoughts, feelings and even their fears.
All materials will be supplied.
This workshop is organised by Kids Company as part of the forthcoming exhibition ‘Hide and Seek’, to be held at the Freud Museum London 4 – 29 September 2013.
Free to attend. Advance booking necessary.
