GRAD: Gallery for Russian Arts and Design will be holding a masterclass in the Russian popular print style, lubok, on Wednesday 12 November, 6.30pm – 8.00pm. The class will allow participants to discover the historical and technical intricacies of the Russian print with a talk from specialist Faith Wigzell and practical demonstrations from art historian and printmaker Helen Higgins. Discover how this visual practice developed from use in the seventeenth century to its adoption by the Russian avant-garde.
