Rhythmic Tales

Rhythmic Tales is a new collection of paintings by Alice Boyle that endeavours to stimulate the viewers’ imagination, by creating vignettes of, ‘a stylised distortion of nature’. They contain specific symbols and colours to conjure up the creation of an untold story.  Alice wants the observer to be creatively involved with the meaning of the piece. Combining ideas of her memories, dreams and experiences, Alice creates vibrant dreamlike worlds. They aim to create a surreal sensibility that gives the essence of a poem or song.
