Free sound and light art workshop, open to all experience levels.
A unique workshop exploring the mediums of sound and light through site-specific working. Hosted by Parallel Relay, a collaborative project by sound artist Esther Ainsworth and light artist Kirsty Dixon.
The workshop will provide an introduction to the work of Parallel Relay, site-specific art and practical techniques for working in sound and light. The workshop will also explore the unique location, history and features of Bow Church and how these can be utilised to create site-specific artworks in sound and light.
The workshop will culminate in a Light Window and Soundscape presentation, which members of the public are invited to attend from 7.30pm. Showcasing an externally visible live stained glass window projection and an internally immersive sound piece, from works created during the workshop.
