Stay Lucky!

Centre for Recent Drawing presents Stay Lucky, curated by artist Paul Kindersley as part of the C4RD Moot series, featuring artists Maxime Angel, Matthew de Kersaint Giraudeau, Paul Kindersley, Patricia Lennox-Boyd, Neil McNally and Daniel Munro.
Object, prop and artefact function as incident and trace, these artists weave a chaotic web of threads implicating both artist and viewer in a fluid narrative. As we encounter the works we project our own dialogues of culled images and clues, becoming simultaneously editor, star and director of the scenes we absorb. Involving found film and objects alongside original artworks, the show seeks to breakdown the hierarchies of source material and product, giving all elements an equal footing as marks from which a line, narrative or idea can be drawn. Illusion and truth collide and create new places in which the questioning of reality vs. fantasy is no longer important or answerable.

Please Join us from 6-8pm on Saturday the 9th January for the PV.
The show will be open daily from 12-6 until Thursday the 14th Jan.
